Hospital Finance 101
This course will familiarize sales reps and managers with hospital C-level executives, starting with the opportunity to meet with a hospital executive. The course serves as a vehicle to teach the student about hospital finance and hospital CXO's and to de-sensitize them to any apprehension about calling on CXO's by providing plenty of live interaction. Coursework includes:
- Introduction to hospital finance
- For Profit vs Not For Profit
- Understanding budgeting - capital and operating
- How hospitals prioritize purchases
- Profiles of hospital executives (CEO, COO, CFO, CIO, etal.)
- Understanding administrative points of pain
- How to position your solution
- How to gain a CXO appointment
- How to conduct the appointment
- Closing for an action step
